Lauren Wong

Lauren established Nevada Girls in STEM in 2021 to empower and inspire young women to succeed in STEM fields. She believes the world is uplifted when women support each other to succeed. Since its inception in 2021, NV Girls In STEM has received national recognition from the National Center for Women In Technology with ASPIRE Impact Award. Lauren is a graduate of West Career & Technical Academy and its Biotechnology Program. Lauren's passion for making a positive impact led her to represent more than 40,000 youth in the Nevada Youth Legislature, where she testified on behalf of state laws increasing educational resources.  Lauren is a 2023 Coca-Cola Scholar, AJGA Rolex Scholastic All-American, Harvard Prize Book recipient, Heisman High School Award recipient, and winner of several Scholastic Art & Writing awards. Lauren attends Harvard University in Cambridge, MA, and plans to concentrate on History & Science with a secondary in Economics.
